What is Ezi Camping?
Ezi Camping provides convenient camping packages and is intended to include the most compact and light camping option for an easy travel and camping experience.
Where are you located?
We are located in Christchurch, New Zealand and we operate throughout the Canterbury area. If you have any questions about specific locations, please contact us.
What camping packages do you offer?
We offer camping packages for solo camping, couples camping or duo camping, as well as basic packages to suit your simple outdoor experience. Each package is available for a minimum hire period of 2 nights.
What is included in a camping package?
Each package includes all the essential gear you need for a comfortable camping experience. Please see the package list here.
How much does it cost to hire the camping gear?
The cost varies based on the package and duration of the hire. Contact us for a detailed quote.
Booking and Payment
How do I book a camping package?
You can book a camping package by getting in contact with us here. Enquiries & changes can be requested by calling 0800 EZI CAMP, emailing [email protected] or go to our contact form on the website. We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak seasons.
Bookings can be done up to 12 months in advance.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, we require a fully refundable deposit. This deposit is returned once the gear is returned with no loss or damage. Deposit amounts range from $120 – $300 depending on the package of your choice.
What is your booking policy?
Acceptance of the quotation is due within 7 days of receipt. In the case of where the booking date is in less than 7 days of initial enquiry, the acceptance of the quote is due within 48 hours and full payment is due 24 hours prior to the pick up date.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit/debit cards or bank transfers. Payments can be made securely through Stripe via your booking invoice.
When will my deposit be refunded?
The deposit will be refunded within 1 business days after the gear is returned and inspected for any losses or damages.
Delivery and Returns
How does the delivery and pickup process work?
We now offer delivery across New Zealand and pick up throughout Christchurch. You are also welcome to pick up and drop off at our office in Wigram which is approximately 15 min from the Christchurch Airport.
Can you courier the camping gear?
Yes, we can accommodate you if you need delivery across New Zealand. Pricing will vary depending on the location of delivery and package hired. In some cases, we may not be able to deliver due to the weight of the package, however if you do require delivery please talk to us and we will find the best possible solution to assist you.
What if I need to cancel or modify my booking?
If you need to cancel or change your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation policies may apply depending on the timing. Please see terms and conditions for more details on cancellation policies and charges.
When do I need to return the equipment?
Returns are required by 5pm on the final booking day.
Gear Use and Care
Do you provide instructions on how to use the gear?
Yes, we provide clear instructions with each package. A pdf of instructions will be emailed to you prior to your package delivery. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to us.
What should I do if I accidentally damage or lose any of the gear?
Please inform us immediately. Depending on the damage or loss, part or all of your deposit may be retained to cover repair or replacement costs. The replacement costs will be an estimate based on the current value of the item.
Can I hire additional gear separately?
Yes, we have a list of add ons to choose from to assist in making your camping experience as easy as possible. Please find extra’s on the orders page. The prices are once-off charges per item.
What is your policy on lost or stolen gear?
If any gear is lost or stolen, you may be responsible for the full replacement cost.
Why do you ask for photo ID?
Your photo ID is used to confirm your identity and is not shared with any third-parties.
